Abby’s Angels Foundation has been chosen by the 25th anniversary committee as a
local non-profit who will receive the generous help from parishioners of St. Mary Magdalene as part of the outreach celebrating this milestone in the parish.
The weekend of February 17 and 18, we were given the opportunity to have tables in the narthex to explain and allow parishioners to sign up for volunteer opportunities for Abby’s Angels Rainbow Run and Family Fun Day, or register to participate in the run. We are very thankful and humbled at the sign up and support we received. Some of you may not have been able to sign up or would like more information about different opportunities.
Below is the QR code for anyone who would like to sign up to walk or run the 5k course.

- Pack Swag bags for the runners- Wed, April 17 – 10:00 – 4:00 (any amount of time you can be there.) Thursday April 18 if necessary.
- Packet Pick Up – Friday, April 19 – 2:30 – 7:00 pm. Hand out runner bags to those who have registered. We also will have a pick up and registration the morning of the race and need people to hand out race bags and register late comers.
- Set Up for the Race- Friday, April 19 – 4:00 – 7:00 pm – Put up Sponsor signs, set up games to be put out Sat. after the race starts, set up tents, put out numbers for sponsor tables, etc.
- Game Volunteers – Saturday, April 20 – Collect signs from the race course, bring games and materials to the staging area to be taken back to storage, clean up color from bathrooms and other end of race needs.
