The Elijah Cup Ministry at St. Mary Magdalene is a parish-wide initiative dedicated to praying for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life. Inspired by the biblical prophet Elijah, it centers on a consecrated chalice that families or individuals take into their homes, place in a prominent spot, and use as a focal point for daily prayer. Participants pray particularly for our seminarians, current priests and deacons, and for young men and women to generously respond to God’s call. Your family’s prayers can make a profound difference!
